Refined Rustic Living...

If you think rustic can't be elegant then you definitely need to check out this cottage built in the pastoral hills of North Carolina's Blue Ridge mountains. The exterior has tons of curb appeal provided by the wood siding, shingled roof, latticework portico, dormer windows and beautiful wood door. Once you step inside, you quickly realize that this is not your average country residence. A great deal of effort has been put into creating a space that looks timeworn yet timeless and elegant. The horizontal wood paneling gives the inside of the residence a casual farmhouse feel. Some of my personal highlights are the  2 stone fireplaces, earthy fabrics, antique chairs and the to-die-for kitchen. Oh my goodness..... can we talk about the kitchen area? A farmhouse table, weathered wood bench, 2 beautiful lanterns, dark wood flooring, white cabinetry and dark countertops......

Oy. Can I move in please?
